Indian Women and Cockroaches Never Get Along

I have seldom seen a woman who is not scared of cockroach.

Cockroach is a domestic insect in India. Kitchen and cockroach and the lady in the kitchen and the yelling of the lady from the kitchen and the flying cockroach sitting on the wall and emergency response with a broom or a pair of shoes… the whole scene is dramatic.

I witnessed several times the above highly dramatic scenes from my two eyes in my house, above mentioned lady refers to my sisters, my wife, my friends” sisters and their wives, and so on.

If you would like to test a girl’s caliber to make high noise, then keep a cockroach and make it fly towards her, then she will yell and make noise, which will go beyond 85dbA, and she will surpass any world-class opera singer.

The year was 2009, I was traveling in an Express Train, and suddenly we heard a group of young girls was screaming like fire or any emergency broke out in the train compartment. We rushed there and found a group of cockroaches was screwing the happiness of those girls. Cockroaches look more horrific when they fly, I don’t understand why does a cockroach fly after seeing a lady?

A few days back my daughter made us panic when she told her mother that she has seen a mouse in our washroom. Mouse and I never get along. I thought I need to call the forest department to take the mouse out of my home. I delegated my wife to inspect our washroom whether an unsafe condition reported by our daughter was a fact.

Delegation is a good virtue of a leader but I delegated her because I was scared of that mouse. This is the negative quality of a leader. Therefore, the intention behind delegation always matters.

Mouse and I are scared of my wife. My wife is scared of cockroaches. She went to the washroom with her weapon: a broom. I don’t know why Indian women like to hit everybody with a broom, including their husbands and you can count me among those husbands.

She went into the washroom, within a few seconds she came back with her red face, she looked panicky. It was a cockroach not a mouse in the washroom.

A severe problem was detected in the communication channel at my home where my 4-year-old daughter identified a cockroach as a mouse.

My wife got angry with my daughter, I feel happy about the cockroach who scared my wife.
