My 5 key methods of adjusting to online learning

The ongoing pandemic has lead to the suspension of all face-to-face teaching, presenting students like myself with the task of adjusting to online learning. I knew this was going to be challenging, as this meant a great deal of change and a lack of resources I had previously relied on.

Nevertheless, I was looking forward to embracing this challenge as an opportunity to explore new styles of learning and develop and refine skills needed to adjust to a digital landscape:

While this pandemic has disrupted plans for the future, it is still possible to be proactive about career development (Click here for advice). Unfortunately, the pandemic has meant the research assistant placement I had planned to start in September has been cancelled. However, I have contacted my provider to seek out online work experience and mentoring links to follow up over summer. This will help develop my digital literacy in research, data analysis, and communication with professionals, to progress towards my prospective career.
