How to display a PDF in an iframe using FileReader API
It all starts one day when I get a new story. The story description was the following: ‘Me as a user I want to see a preview of the document’. It seemed clear. The backend was done and returned the actual file, as you would download it.
The initial implementation was using the readAsDataURL and the result was passed as the iframe src.
All worked fine for small files, but when the size increased, we started to see issues.
The solution allowed the display of large PDF files, tested with files larger than 250MB.
