What do I do if midland credit management sent me a bill saying that i owe $866.34 and its not true?
About one year ago someone from this company was harassing my parents to talk to me and only me. all they gave was their name which was midland credit management and no reason why they were calling and were very rude. I had no idea who they were and I didn’t want to talk to them. (I am very young) After awhile of me not responding to their calls they stopped calling. I had absolutely no credit at the time because i had no loans, no credit cards, no nothing. Yesterday out of nowhere I got a bill in the mail from them saying I owe a debt of $866.34 and I know I don’t owe anybody that! i’ve never even bought anything worth that much money I am only 21! It also says on the bill that the original creditor was ge money bank and I’ve never used them either. It sounds fishy to me. I think they have the wrong person. I want to check my credit report to see if it’s even on there because this doesn’t make any since and I don’t have the time to deal with this. Does anyone know what to do? or how to get a free credit report and fast?””

I am about to buy a 2003 Honda Civic from my uncle for approximately $10,000. Applying for auto loan?
So I just graduated from University this spring and am interested in looking into getting an auto loan. I never needed a car at school but am now going to be needing one to commute for work. I just signed the papers for a full time job (salary + commission) and am also working part time as an independent contractor for a company. My credit score is just short of 800 I have two credit cards which were just paid off in full and my only debt is a moderate amount of student loans which I’ve consolidated and begin payments on in 6 months. I’ve have $6,000 dollars available for a down payment and have been researching certified pre-owned vehicles between $12,000–15,000 so I’m looking into a loan for around 7 or 8 thousand. My parents also are willing to co-sign if need be. Going to live at home for 8–10 months so my expenses with be very low and the only bills I’ll be paying would be the auto loan payment, car insurance payment and in 6 months my student loan payments. My monthly income will be right around $2,200. My only concern is obviously the short job history seeing as though I will probably only have 1 month at my current job when I try to get the loan. I worked each summer between school years at Nordstrom and part time during the year at a country club so I do have about 5 years of previous work history while I was at college. Realistically will I be eligible to get a decent loan at this point? Also I don’t know a lot about the auto loan process but I for sure want to shop around to get an idea of rates and requirements. If anyone could provide some answers and advice I’d greatly appreciate it!””

Annoying Telemarketers Call’s All Day With Indian Accent?
So I applied for a Payday Loan from a reputable source (CheckNGo) last night. Being that it was late I figured Id go to bed and check the status tomorrow. We’ll I woke up to an annoying call at 430 in the morning by a man with what I am assuming an Indian accent calls saying that i was approved for a $15,000 loan, the man knew my name and everything. I told him he had the wrong number. 7 hours later and 23 calls later, the same group (i am assuming its a group cause background noice and all had Indian sounding accents) wont stop calling. Each one says the are from different companies but with all the same BS story.
