Weekly Dinner

Malam itu Matthew kembali jadi ‘Grumpy Matthew’ alias sisi lain Matthew ketika Sierra memiliki pacar.

Kedua orang itu makan dengan tenang tanpa berbicara hanya menikmati makanan sembari melihat citylights kota Jakarta yang terlihat indah seperti biasanya.

“Matt, i want to tell you something but promise me one thing.” ujar Sierra ketika setelah menyesap wine dari gelasnya.

Matthew hanya mengangguk dan masih fokus pada makanannya.

“Deon proposed me yesterday.” ungkap Sierra membuat Matthew berhenti menyuapkan makanan dan melihat Sierra dengan pandangan yang serius.

“Has he spoken to your father about the proposal?” tanya Matthew dengan tenang.

Sierra menggelengkan kepalanya, “Not yet.”

“Matt, the thing is when i officially married to him i will move to Denmark.”

“Denmark is quite far, Sierra. I can’t visit you every weekend just for our weekly dinner.” komentar Matthew.

“Matt, look at me.” pinta nya.

“Matt, Kalau gue nikah sama Deon, Apa berarti deal kita bakal hangus?”
