Not all follower counts are built the same

I think it goes without saying that though they all fall under the category of social media, the various major platforms are all different. I am not talking about the platforms themselves, but the algorithms and popular users who make them what they are.

The contest had three entry categories: 50k+, 100K+, and 250K+. I am currently at over 260k on youtube, so I went with 250K+. I honestly thought that if my application was accepted, I would be going up against creators with 1M+ audiences. I should point out that not only are there 20 spots on a reality tv show on the line, but prize money for the winner, and $100k is $100k regardless of your follower count.
